Feb. 18 2010 / Food log

Lunch

1/2 cup steel cup oats
1/2 cup milk
1 teaspoon maple sugar
1 banana
1 cup blueberries (emptied the bag)
2 tbsp sliced almonds

Breakfast

Smoothie :

1/4 cup raspberries (that's all that was left, gotta get more)
1 cup blueberries
1 1/2 cup spinach
3/4 cup Arthurs's smoothie
1 large tablespoon honey (couldn't find maple syrup)
1 banana

Feb. 17 2010 / Food log

"supper" of sorts... I had an exam and snacked between work and school...
2 white bread toast
1 tbls peanut butter
1 cup chocolate milk
10 almonds
3 peanut M&M
6 pieces of dark chocolate pellets.


Snack
Green apple

Lunch
1/2 red bell pepper
2 celery branches
1/4 cup mini carrots
1 cup brocoli florets
2 tablespoons onion dip
1 slice whole wheat bread (toasted)
1 tablespoon cream cheese (Liberty)
1 avocado
juice of one lemon

I made a cheese and avocado toast, with lemon juice, S&P. It was good.

Snack

Finished my smoothie

Breakfast at work (I only drank 1/2 of my smoothie so far, put it back in the fridge)

1 envie of peach oatmeal
1/3 cup 2% milk

Smoothie:
¾ cup cherries
¾ cup blueberries
¾ cup Arthur’s green smoothie
1/8 cup maple syrup
1 banana
1 cup spinach

Food log - Feb. 16 /2010

Work-out
25 mins treadmill
20 mins rower
15 mins stationnary bike (left due to neighbour's stinking bad breath)
total calories burnt : 650!

Post-gym snack
1 envie of strawberry oatmeal
1/2 cup skim milk
1 banana
4 saltine crackers
1 laughing cow cheese
1 bite of chocolate (which I spit out since it didn't taste so good to me)

pre-gym snack
1 large bowl of Special K with 1/2 skim milk and 2 teaspoons of sugar (yep, white stuff addiction)


We went out to eat at lunch. I had the peanut butter chicken. It was very weak, very watery and mostly mushrooms. I did eat the rice noodles and the fried spinach.

gonna have that lunch tomorrow.
Lunch

At work breakfast, this time, the whole thing was 500 ml so I drank it all.

3/4 cup fruit juice (smoothie)
1 cup spinach
1 banana
2 tablespoons maple syrup

At home breakfast started with the darned white stuff addiction...
1 slice of white bread (the crust, so smaller slice)
1/2 tablespoon low fat peanut butter
1/2 cup chocolate miljavascript:void(0)k

Couldn't do it... I cheated. I can't believe I cheated on myself :(

I was too hungry when I got home. I need to bring something for a pm snack. So when I got home I had sugar coated almonds, chocolate pellets, and saltine crackers. Then later on, I had popcorn and some more chocolate (Lindt truffles). I'm pissed with myself.

Feb. 15 2010 / Food log

For lunch I have :

2 hard boiled eggs
1 tablespoon mayo (real mayo with real ingredients)
1 whole orange bell pepper
3/4 cup baby carrots
1/4 cup onion dip (sour cream based)
1 enveloppe of peach oatmeal
1/2 cup 2% milk

Snack
Red Delicious apple
Rice Krispies square (yuck, the commercial brand)


Breakfast - I made a smoothie, but the quantities should be cut in 2/3 since it was too much.

1 cup fresh mango
1 cup blueberries
1 banana
1 cup spinach
3/4 juice (Oasis tropical fruit)
1/2 vanilla low fat yogourt
1/8 cup maple syrup

Gonna start a food log

For breakfast, I had my normal smoothie :
1 cup blueberry
1/2 cup raspberry
1 cup spinach
1 banana
7/8 cup juice
1/8 cup maple syrup (to offset the taste of the spinach)

For a snack (shame on me!) 3/4 of a Wonderbar as well as a Handy SnacK :(

But worst was my lunch... as picture below.

I finished my day with more chocolate and about 2 cups of video store popcorn.

I admit it, I have an addiction

I'm addicted to white stuff. Not the illegal kind of white drug. But it should still be illegal. I'm addicted to sugar, white flour and white rice. All the nasty stuff derived from white flour (white bread, white pasta...) and sweets of all kinds. I should really try the 30-day sugar-free challenge.

Post of shame

so I weighed myself. I'm 3 pounds down from Friday am, but not sure how valid that number is. I'll try again tomorrow morning. I'm also 35 pounds heavier then when I was preggo with the boy 12 years ago. Also 12 inches thicker around the waist then when I met Mr Clown Man 15.5 years ago, sucks!

New blog, new me

Although I have started going to the gym and try to eat better, I haven't started losing weight. I've also notice I have to be careful about what I eat after mid-afternoon. Spending 4 nights awake with liver pain is very unpleasant. Since the last 2 painful nights were this week, I have decided to take my health into my own hands. So supper will be completely vegetarian and fat-free.

I will also use this blog to clean up my recipe stash.
